Tee-Dress Three Ways with Chatham Thread Works

Our favorite Stylist Blogger, Catherine, of charleboischic.com styles our Cotton Tee Dress.

Once the summer weather begins, I am so tired of all the layers and dream about adding a few soft, comfortable pieces into my closet. The easiest, breeziest options, please.  I was so excited when my friends at Chatham Threadworks reached out to me to see how I would style one of their new goodies this season; a cotton t-shirt dress. Of course, I had it customized with my monogram on the sleeve (always complimentary with them, by the way!) and have found myself reaching for it over and over as I sat by the beach and jumped back into some traveling!

I read “Beautiful Ruins” over a weekend on the beach and highly recommend it!

It also has me plotting when I can find time to take a vacation to Italy…

I tend to get up early when I am on vacation and stay in something cozy while I have my coffee and let myself slowly get moving. I definitely slept in my dress, but its perfect to slip on top of pj’s for another layer when the air conditioning still feels a little chilly.

Jean shorts and sneakers don’t have to be boring or dingy. I wore this top scrunched up to my waist and paired it with my current favorite jean shorts along with a colorful scarf in my hair to add a little more color! For walking the pup, running errands or grabbing lunch, it’s about as summertime perfect as you can get.

Top: Gifted and personalized by Chatham Threadworks. Shorts :7 For All Mankind. Sneakers: Nike. Sunglasses: Quay Australia. Necklace: Adina Reuter. Canteen: Corkcicle from Chatham Threadworks.

I am always grabbing a coverup to throw over my suit to go to the beach, and almost every day, I wish I had sleeves to cover me up when I have had too much sun or when the temps drop after sunset. This tunic is perfect to throw in my beach tote for an afternoon by the water. Bonus points- it’s machine washable so you don’t need to worry about getting sunscreen or sand all over it when you can toss it in the washing machine post beach-day!

Tote and Tunic: Chatham Threadworks. Sunhat: HatAttack for Club Monaco (currently an extra 30%off!)
